SPAM CONTROL
Through the
Webmail Portal, you
can now control what email gets through to you, or tighten down your own
filtering. We have our own spam filters which block over a million
spam emails each day, however there are some cases where your friend's email
comes from a server that has been blacklisted and you want it to reach you.
Alternatively, you may find that there are emails you feel you shouldn't
receive, and you can tighten your own personal spam filters.
Log into
the
Webmail Portal
and enter your username (full email address) and password.
Add an email address to your personal Whitelist
- Select Options (on the left-hand side)
- In the list of Options, select Whitelist
- Press the Add button, and simply add the email address you
which to allow through
- click OK
- This will now allow emails sent from the addresses in your Whitelist
through to your inbox
Set your own personal Spam Filters
- Select Options (on the left-hand side)
- In the list of Options, select Spam Rules
- Click the box beside "Enable Mailbox Spam Filtering"
- Review the Low, Medium and High Risk options and select an action to
take for each
- This will now take those messages deemed to be a Low, Medium or High
risk of being spam, and follow the action you have set
